Webcast Metrics

Webcast Metrics is Internet radio's only ratings system using real data. As opposed to traditional audience measurement, which relies on diary estimates and representative sample statistics, the Webcast Metrics Ranker contains actual audience statistics gathered directly from the member stations' media servers. This use of accurate data, combined with a standardization of measurement methodologies across the industry, makes Webcast Metrics member broadcasters very appealing to national advertisers who are waiting to take advantage of this largely untapped consumer market.

Biondo Communications now offers two versions of the Webcast Metrics internet radio auditing system. For the larger radio stations there is the full measurement package, featuring reports available on a daily basis. For the smaller broadcaster there is the basic package that features reports delivered on a monthly basis.

Full Measurement Package
Stations subscribing to the Full Measurement Package receive a username and password and will have access to a page that contains daily, weekly, monthly, and available historical and trending information. Metrics will include AQH, Cume, TLH, average listening time, and other available information. Subscribers have permission to use the information with proper attribution to Webcast Metrics. The station will also be included in all released rankers, if applicable. This is a per station price. Stations with multiple channels may choose to have each channel measured separately for an additional fee. Otherwise, station audience will be represented as one aggregate number.

Stations receive:

• Login access to daily, weekly, monthly and historical audience data.
• Permission to use the information for sales and marketing purposes.
• Inclusion in released data rankers.

Monthly Update Package
Stations with less than 600,000 hours per month may purchase this package. The station will receive a monthly update from Webcast Metrics with audience data that includes AQH, Cume, TLH, Average listening time. The station will not have login access to more specific information. The station will have permission to use the data for purposes of estimating their audience, and will be included in all released audience data rankers.

Stations receive:

• Monthly update with monthly audience data.
• Permission to use the information for estimating their audience.
• Inclusion in released data rankers.
